tongue ring doesn't stick out tongue for photo"

Sarah
Winston a Junior at Write State University in Dayton Ohio, was captured
on film for the first time since her tongue piercing over a year ago,
with her mouth closed. Other Wright State Students say that it is an
amazing accomplishment, as since her piercing, "Winston hardly ever
keeps her tongue in her mouth for ordinary social contact, let alone
photos."

"Yeah
I got this tongue ring cause I totally am like an individual, and
all the cool people have one, but that's not why I did it, I
wanted one long before I knew all the cool people had them. Next
week I'm going to get a tattoo on my lower back, or around my
navel. Oh!, but I've been wanting that for a long time too, long
before all the cool people started doing it." |

Smeg Another student at Wright State had this to say:
"That crazy bitch has her tongue hanging
out like 24/7. I used to think she was cute, but now every time I
see her she's like a cow, with her tongue hanging out. It makes
her look retarded"

We talked to Sarah and she explained her fascination with being
unique.
"Yeah it's like everyone has tats and rings, and everyone is
all like really alternative. For a while there I was the only one
without a tattoo or piercing, and I just couldn't stand not being
unique like everyone else, because I'm an individual y'know. I'm a
leader not a follower. I'm hoping that next year when we get a new
batch of students, that all the kids will look at me and my
friends and want to be unique like us."

We had to cut our interview short, when Sarah realized what time
it was.
"I'm Kinda Like Princess Diana
y'know standing up for the little people, and all. Oh!,..it's 5pm
I have to watch the Osborne's, it's this show about some music guy
or something who yells a lot, but I want to be able to talk about
it in class tomorrow, with the other kids, they all think it's
really cool!".
